At its next meeting Wednesday, December 12, 2018 Friends of El Mirage will discuss in detail its plans and those of the BLM Barstow Field Office for the 2019 California OHV grants cycle.  This will be an opportunity for the public to provide input regarding projects they would like to see FOEM and the BLM pursue under the OHV grants program.

It is especially important for FOEM members and those of the public to attend this month's meeting because this is everyone's community and we all deserve to be heard. Please come with your ideas and share them with us.  The meeting will be held at the BLM El Mirage Visitors Center located at 20471 Mountain View Road in El Mirage, California.

The annual OHV grant applications are a key part of the partnership between the Friends of El Mirage and the State of California, which issues grants to a variety of entities to improve OHV recreation. These meetings help improve the chance that our community can be improved. This year, we are anticipating $40 million available for allocation.
